Welcome to the Freshwater Amateur Swim Club, a family-friendly community club based at the iconic Freshwater Beach Rock Pool. With a proud history on Sydney's Northern Beaches stretching back to 1946, we invite you to join us for another season of fun, fitness, and friendship. New members are always welcome!

We welcome new members all season long! Whether you're under 5 or over 95, a first-time racer or a seasoned swimmer, there's a lane for you at FASC.

Thinking of Joining? Come and Try Us Out!
Joining something new can feel a little daunting, but we want you to know our club is for everyone.
Worried you're not a fast swimmer? You don't need to be! Our club is built on fun and community spirit. All our races are handicapped, which means everyone from a beginner to a seasoned swimmer has a chance to compete. While it's great if you want to be competitive, our main focus is on encouraging swimmers of all abilities in a safe, friendly and inclusive environment.
Our lanes are filled with families, groups of friends, solo members, and people from every generation.
We invite all potential new members to a "no worries" trial for the first two Saturdays of the season.
Come down to the pool, get a feel for the friendly atmosphere, meet some of our members, and see if the club is the right fit for you and your family.
The season kicks off on Saturday 18th October at 1.30pm
Weekly Saturday Swim Meets
From October through to March, we gather every Saturday afternoon for our club swim meets. We offer a wide variety of races covering all four strokes, with distances ranging from a 15m dash for our beginners right up to the 1500m challenge for experienced swimmers.
